Leadership Team

The key word of our Leadership Team is simply: TEAM.  And we continue to seek God’s will as we plan worship service details, special events, and train Believers to fulfill The Great Commission in their daily lives.  Meet a few of our awesome Team Leaders!

Dale & Amy Broom, Lead Pastors

Pastor Dale & Amy Broom were both raised in wonderful Christian families and met at a church youth group where they began their journey in life together.  After years of serving in and through their home church, they were called by God into full-time ministry in 1996.  In February of 2017, they joined the staff at Cornerstone Church of God as Lead Pastors.

Graduating with a degree in education from Southeastern University, Pastor Dale began serving young people as a mentor, teacher, coach, and eventually as a full-time Youth Pastor before becoming a Lead Pastor in 2011.  These passions and qualities still drive his ministry as he serves the Kingdom of God with an emphasis on discipleship, families, and training leaders.  A gifted singer, Amy has a giant heart of love for everyone and enjoys touching the lives of others.

Married in 1988, Pastor Dale and Amy have three daughters of faith along with three sons of God by marriage: U.S. Army Sgt. Chris and Melissa Hawkins, Cameron and Alison Polston (Children’s Pastors at Village COG), and Altamonte Police Officer Austin and Lauren Harris.

Elex Tyler, Executive Pastor

Pastor Elex Tyler is our Executive Pastor.  He and his wife Francis are retired ministers in the Church of God of Prophecy.  There they served as both Pastors and as District Overseers.  Currently, they faithfully serve in whatever capacity needed here at Cornerstone Church of God.  Pastor Tyler teaches various classes such as the Wednesday Adult Bible Study, assists with the Community Outreach, and is also a member of the Pastor’s Council.  His wife, Sis. Francis, also is actively involved in our Women’s Ministries and assists at the Community Outreach.
